Patients with renal disease and bladder dysfunctions face the discomfort of using urinary catheters and waste collection bags. This resulted in STYLEDWEL,” exclaims Mary, Founder of the company.

Mary’s passion for helping her family member turned out to be a boon for many renal patients. The easy-to-use STYLEDWEL solutions are made of durable and washable lightweight nylon and include velcro covers to observe the urine level. “We added zippers on the top and bottom of the tote, aiding patients to take the waste collection bags in and out easily. STYLEDWEL is a blessing for the couple—Maureen and Dave. Suffering from multiple sclerosis (MS) and bladder dysfunction, Dave uses a urinary catheter and a disposal bag alongside his wheelchair that gets uncomfortable and often creates an awkward situation. The couple planned to attend their daughter’s graduation to be held in a field instead of an indoor stadium. The family was concerned about emptying this bag during the ceremony. “Being a new kid on the block, I spent a year figuring out STYLEDWEL’s business space,” says Mary. She observed that patients with catheters usually search for leg bag covers online. Accordingly, STYLEDWEL became an online seller with easy availability on platforms like Amazon.

Moving forward, STYLEDWEL is focusing on further enhancing the existing solutions and is planning to develop offerings using colostomy bags for patients. The company aims to allow patients with catheters break out from being confined to chairs in dark rooms and relive their lives with healthy bodies and minds.
